Abraxos is small and correct. He is very shy, but an in-your-pocket baby once he knows you. We tease that he’s a “mamma’s boy.” He was adopted as a weanling along with his companion, Raine, with the intent of being a future breeding pair, but as our lives took a different direction, Abraxos was gelded with the intent to involve him in liberty and therapy. Since he came to our farm, he has been involved in all aspects of daily life, including hanging out in the house and going for long evening walks. He’s tiny and easy going, so he is used to having his lead rope tied as a belt around his human’s waist and tagging along during chores. He is adorable – tiny and flashy when he prances – would be beautiful and take quickly to liberty.

With his personality of being a pleaser, loving people, and natural curiosity, he will undoubtedly excel greatly in liberty. He would also be fantastic in therapy, as he is very gentle and loves people.

He approaches new things with calm curiosity – such as trailer rides and walks through the woods. He is at the beginning of his liberty training with just a couple of lessons under his belt with liberty trainer, Mirka Crew. Often more like a golden retriever than a horse, Finnegan sits up in his stall watching the world go by, snores loudly when he sprawls out for his naps, and he follows around by his person’s side at liberty. Finnegan has not yet been started under saddle due to his age, but he has been tacked up and he didn’t blink an eye. He is a very brave and smart boy.
